Just finished ummm watching uhhh Peep TV show! I mean I think I did? Oh, 22 days ago. Okay maybe I wasn't that inspired since I haven't even bought a single spycam yet. Oh well, forget about it. What were we talking about? INSPIRATION! If any of you have been moved to do something interesting by a film, WHAT WAS THE FILM? AND WHAT DID U DO???

a few years ago i had the feeling that it would be nice to become more acquainted with non-american cinema. i signed up for a free trail on mubi.com, went to their mubi top 1000 list, and used a random number generator to produce numbers until i got one that corresponded with a film that was available for streaming on the site. that film was antonioni's l'avventura. i was completely blown-away by it and it was an immediate contender for my favorite film. i felt that it if i had randomly stumbled upon a film ton that level, that there would undoubtedly be a lot of other amazing stuff out there. anyway... fastforward about 4 years and ive seen l'avventura 3 times, it is my favorite film, and continued to watch 30-50 new art films a year (leading to many other interesting and inspiring cinematic experiences).

May be a lil offtopic but I found PEEP TV Show to be ironically an incredibly pessimistic film. Just made me think about how trapped and seperated we are from one another in the modern world. I kind of saw the characters obsession with peepshow site as a desire for genuineness in the world. And following from that the owner of the sites obsession with 9/11 seems to me to be a similar to desire for some sort of more "real" reality than what they have to regularly live through.

it worked but it i dont think it worked how you're picturing it. i'm decently strong, but when i was actually wearing the leg weights and for a good period after then i was a lot more athletic relative than to right now. i go through waves where sometimes i'll get inspiration to exercise intensively for months and then have long periods of stagnation. i wish i could just integrate a small amount of exercise everyday, but i've been really lazy about it lately. thanks for asking.
