SOLO TTRPGS?

I was thinking of getting into table top rpgs but I am kind of a loner.
Then I found out that there's those that you can play solo like Ironsworn.
Any ideas or experiences regarding ttrpgs and solo ttrpgs?

I am more of a vidya guy but I don't like games these days. Sure I could play old games+mods which I do but I guess I thought playing TTRPGs would make me less dependent on these game corporations since I can homebrew anything like I want to. Just a thought.

I actually have wanted to try playing a single player pen and paper RPG, but I've never got around to looking into it.
