I really love kiting monsters and dodging projectiles while shooting a shotgun, it is the single greatest gameplay loop yet invented.
So, what are your opinions on boomer shooters? Do you think quake 1 is the greatest game ever made or are you wrong? Also, what do you think of modern boomer shooters such as dusk or hrot? personally i love both of those games, especially dusk which is up there with the best of them imo.

99% of my FPS play time is various Doom maps and mods.
I did like playing Quake 1 quite a bit.
I probably should look into what the Quake scene has done in terms of maps, and I probably should look into other modern games with that kind of gameplay.

I've seen paid multiplayer game sold on steam, about furries shooting each other. forgot the name. do you know? trailer was a blast. there was a train or a car or bus.

and slop everywhere. copycats. games made & designed by stupid people with no education in arts, design, psychology. and that's true. they call themselves "indie" devs. ai will make better games than them.

classic marathon is worth trying, although the level colony ship for sale, cheap will test your patience greatly
