Less a feature request and more a design suggestion: I'm viewing this site at 80% zoom and I'm prefering it. Perhaps consider reducing the text size a touch.

I don't think there are many themes yet for emanon (this type of textboard). You can write a theme you like yourself in CSS and apply it with an extension like Stylus[1]. You could then paste the CSS code here so the web master can take it and add it to the site.

If you want a dark theme you could just install the addon dark reader and customise it for yourself

Not sure if you want to Dr. U0y, but I believe publishing the codebase on GitHub (or some other git hosting platform) would be great. That way people could (potentially) add more themes to the site in the form of CSS files via pull requests. People could add additional functionality as well in case it was ever needed, like in the form of some youtube video embedding system like >>2 said.

Having different types of themes would be nice. Like a dark theme, cyberpunk theme or even a way for users to create their own css themes and have them uploaded to the site or something. In my opinion the site is too young for new features. So far sweet site.

also, this is fairly autistic, but adding twitch emote embeds could be kind of cool...

Something that actually, really, needs to be fixed: After just arriving in a board, I see different posts if I Refresh the page seconds later. This isn't because these "new" posts are that fresh, it appears I'm getting served some older, cached page the first time I visited it. This gets me paranoically refreshing one additional time every time I want to check [all], for example.

I also just had the idea for a style that instead places the image next to the reply box, for company. It also fades the image when you start writing a post, which helps if you're ADD or something.

Again, I've sifted a few important variables and stuffed them in a block to be easy to customize.

It would probably not be practical to include this in the site. To customize your waifu, you would have to build an friggin interface (besides learn how to) and the time investment might not be worth it.

open-source: fork the emanon bbs backend on github to add approved features
liability reduction: link filtering and reporting system for posts, implement self hosted captcha and cryptographic tokens just in case
improved posting experience: passwords to delete/edit posts, an option field to allow for discreet saging
communication: word-filtering, cross-thread linking by referencing a thread's subject (or id) and possibly the post number of its replies
usability & cosmetics: ability to change the theme, floating post composition area, search page, banner submissions

another feature request: no ip bans. I share same single one vpn ip with other anons, and if some one of them getting banned for their shitposting or even for wrong reasons by powertripping mod, that affects others ability to post.

This place needs needs a git repo, even hosted locally is fine, of a fork of the emanon BBS for denpa-chan. The least the deadbeat admins can do is make a repo to update the site with new features others can code: the most obvious being proper timezones as >>19 suggested. Literally all the admins would have to do is merge the code with the new feature after testing.
