do you like either anime/manga or cartoons/comics or do you enjoy both?

I prefer manga over anime when given a choice. For cartoons and comics, I choose both equally.

comics make me think more which I apreciate more, from the art style to the paneling to the stoner esque nonsensical dialogue, while manga feels more like older style comics where everything is neat and curated

What kind of comics are you writing about?

I'm quite fond of animation. Obviously it moves but what really adds to it for me is the voice acting, music and colours. I find it hard to get "atmosphere" from manga. Things like Osaka's monologue in Azumanga is just so c o m f y.

on the other hand manhwas are goated, mostly cause the south korean mind leaks out on the power-fantasy main character a little too much

Been reading 천개의 꽃잎, it is a pretty strange manhwa. It combines watercolor paintings with manga in an authentically Korean style.
