There is a chilling effect of "comphy" here. Like sure I could talk about how eugenics is good, or start posting loli ascii art. but is that "comphy"? idk. I find it pretty comphy, but does everyone? thus the rougher edges of our ecentricities are sanded away and culture homogonized.
anyway. gunna day dream about about autisim proliferation and degeneracy spreading. maybe hook some 6 year olds on hasbin hotel to start them on the degen pipeline.

We have to give up a little of that in order to keep the whole place from turning to shit. Posting about how eugenics is good by itself is one thing, but then we both know it would devolve into political shit flinging which is definitely uncomfy. Personally I will be glad if this place can stay free from politics bullshit that floods the rest of the internet.

i do agree. but I also see OP's overall feeling. It might be nice to have more of the wilder topics im sure many (if not all) of us have get some representation, discussion, etc. But the chill effect is overall probably good for various reasons. there are a fair number of quite uncomfy topics terminally online people can get into that probably are better left to the septic tanks. I like the gutters much more.
