NEET Ethics

/srs I kinda have this idea of a sort of anti-capitalism Lainist NEETism that I don't know how to ground in ethics. May you do the favour of establishing an ethical framework that can ground that?

That's what we call starting from conclusions and working backwards. Whats more important is to understand how your current NEET way of life fits into a broader process that has the capacity to lead towards a radically different, better things for yourself and for the world. In reality, the NEET lifestyle is just another sick product of capitalism itself, but it contains the scattered elements of a revolutionary vision of spontaneity and freedom.

Ethics is nothing to ground with. However, there is a long history of anti-capitalism with the refusal to work if that's what you're interested in, you should look into the situationist international.

idd like to add on to three's reply in saying that post left types like bob black and alfredo bonanno have written books and essays on the subject even originating the term anti-work, i cant say if these theorists are worth a lick of spit because im a teenager only just now become whatsoever politically aware I read these guys first bc they were edgy w/o any context or real understanding but i know they dont like work, n0 also has a blog post that kinda touches on anti-work sentiments called 'give up on life'

taking pride in being a NEET is the most capitalist thing you can do

nah, taking pride in it is fine. expressing pride in it is cringe tho.
faux minimalist chic is much worse than neet-aesthetic by any metric.
