what makes the genders attractive and mysterious

its probably the incomprehensibility of it all, it forces you to fill in the gaps mostly positively, its why women like evil men, why men like stupid women. while being a mystery helps I think there's also a desire for poeple to be complete trying to fill in all that you're lacking with an admirable other

The mystery disappears when you realise that men cannot let someone else talk for more than ten seconds

on a serious note this post makes kind of a good point, though i agree that patriarchy has fed us the stupid woman and the strong man arhcetype people seem to be getting over that especially younger people. If we were to talk on a more anthropologic and a less social way, i kind of agree with the ideas posed by jean baudrillard on his book "The Singular Objects of Architecture", we find beauty in dialectics a stupid man finds smart women attractive tall people find shorter people attractive (obviously baudrillard is not talking about beauty in people but beauty in objects but yeah). But then again this is not something universal and to be fair it might be kind of dangerous trying to find a universal answer to this

Since the mystery seems so awfully easy to dispel for the binary genders, i guess that leaves dating enbies, and settling for the stale shallows of comprehensibility as the only remaining options.

i fail to see what mystery there is in people. sure, they can act in seemingly nonsensical ways at times, but i don't see this behaviour as mysterious because i know that their deluded motivations are different from my own deluded motivations, but i do not care to know what they are. my own delusions are enough for me.
for me, attractiveness is built on three core components:
cuteness
intellect
capability for violence
cuteness is highly subjective. i reckon that human males and adult human females cannot be deemed cute, since cuteness is reserved for cats and juvenile human females. the former lack the magic that dwells in the latter. master of cuteness: rakka.
intellect is something that i define as a combination of a few factors. perception or awareness is the major one, the minor ones are conscientiousness, curiosity, courage (not the foolish courage of heroes, the measured courage of one who is ready to face minor adversity) and an esoteric/magical outlook on this world. master of intellect: none. mastery in this domain is unachievable.
capability for violence is straightforward. is one willing to kill to ensure the well being of one's lover? if not, then one is not truly in love. i would only consider one worthy of being my partner in life/love if one is equal to me or surpasses me in armed combat. note that i disregard physical strength in my definition of capability for violence, since one does not need to be strong to be a good fighter. one only needs to be fit and well trained. master of violence: idk, pick your favourite yandere.
i will never find someone who matches all three of my criteria, and even i did find someone like that, nothing guarantees that i'd be the one that that someone would love, so i will never be involved in such silly business as love.
