Meeting online strangers is scary, dude.

That's the point of going to a well known public place away from your resident city - I presume the fear is of unwanted continued contact/attention?
Otherwise you might as well think everybody is going to kill you (or whatever the concern is). But then again 'Denpas' do seem like they might be predisposed to uh.. abnormal mental processes.
But then again again, who wants normal friends >_>
