what is denpatube?

there was very much a thesis of the whole denpa thing back when it was most active. I'll talk about the main one later but for most of the group an important factor was radical sincerity. this can't really be described as core to the thing in itself since n0thanky0u and osakasyndrome never really agreed with the idea. it was important for most other denpas (major and minor (it's also important to note that the breadth of minor denpas and denpas adjacent to the sphere that were never really a part of the clique means that denpa definitionally can't be a clique)).

but the primary thesis of denpa was an adjacent idea that things should be themselves as much as possible. if you wanted to make a youtube channel, it should embody what you think the essence of a youtube channel should be. if you want to make abstract music, it should be the most core version of that abstraction. so while the idea of radical sincerity isn't required, it melded perfectly with this idea because by deciding what was the most important part of a specific thing, you already reveal your values as it relates to that specific thing.

the problem with the entire philosophy is that by nature it drives itself to further and further obscurity. when you get to the actual point where you can purely express the specific thing you're trying to express, it becomes something that you wouldn't really want other people to see. from my understanding, a lot of the newer denpas mostly interact amongst themselves and don't really make anything that public facing.
