You used to get around it and yt-dlp would still work with it but now for no fucking reason whatsoever they decided to make it server-side so you actually have to give your fucking id to google. Every other video seems to be age restricted and the service is quickly becoming unusable. It's such a bewildering fucking anti-user policy. I hope whoever implements it ropes
