what i found kind of interesting to think about was that how even then the central "format" of the videos at its' core wasn't that different to me, the only difference between those vids where he'd read the entire dictionary front to back or stream himself literally sitting and watching paint dry off a wall and those vids he makes now where he just does squid game irl are matters of scale and gradually involving other people

i remember watching his terrible intro series and it was just typical 2016 edgy content, with people like leafy you could at least say that he had some actual funny deranged moments, but mr beast was just lukewarm at best. when he started with the counting to 1000000 type of content i just lost interest, the dude is simply a machine that produces mindless content.
