I would write you more than 3 posts a day if you prove yourself worthy by implementing IndieWeb+ActivityPubSub specifications.
So I wouldn't waste time by polling all the boards, but receive notification, and boards finally form Chanoverse broadcast network.

shut up queer i do what i want.
19 Name: Anonymous 2025-06-28 12:04
I'm joking. My doomposts are unworthy of your attention.
Do RSS Atom readers get notified about saged posts?

Which open decentralized protocol do you use (or propose) to manage large diverse social web graphs?
Like adding friends, discovering new friends of friends through friends, leaving authorized comments, IM, implementing emotional reaction buttons, polling, etc.

I've been looking at Monocle client\reader, Indie webring spec, as more lightweight alternative for running ActivityPub server, cuz it could be served via static pages(but dynamically updated with comments, likes, replies, reactions, new friends...)

DQN on 4-ch gets about 8 posts a day. world2ch gets 25~ on one day and can then get 4 on the next, it fluctuates greatly.

What is the SDF's people opinion on anonymous/pseudonymous users? Last time I checked they all used their meatname and posted pictures from their real life. Is this perception true? I don't mean whether they allow pseudonymous users, as they obviously do. My question is what their implicit stance is, if users with pseudonyms are frowned upon, etc., because I feel this is the case for much of tech places like these.

they don't care as far as I can tell. everyone understands why someone would want privacy.
23 Name: Anonymous 2025-06-29 16:34
I wouldn't use a BBS that will require my IRL world data, numbers, id.
in 2025 that's ultra cringe
24 Name: Anonymous 2025-06-29 16:44
I'm gonna use CLI text browser (& client) in terminal to browse Textoverse of Textodon, with hashrate of 9000 posts per second

they lie about "vps problems"
they get free domain + free tier vps trial, write engine as coding practice excersize, spam everywhere their "new chan", get free UX testing, test how many posters they can gather, how many clicks, how much traffic, sell their data. And then abandon.
And then cycle repeats.
Using you as a product.
SEO, doorways, clickfarms, spam, domain squatting.
It happened before.
If website becomes popular, they could sell it.
They had no intent to maintain any website long term, or contribute anything meaningful to anonymous discussions culture.
endless list of abandoned unmaintained engines, websites. If you seen old "new board post" with fancy domain on other chans, that is not reachable - it could be their.
Developers who take pleasure in writing code instead of solving existing community challenges with a better architecture & maintaining software have ruined everything.
Elimination of Anon communities. Embrace Extend Extinguish.

34 Name: Anonymous 2025-08-23 20:05
The question is which is better?
world2ch.net or denpa-chan?
35 Name: Anonymous 2025-08-23 20:29
>>34
They both suck.
36 Name: Anonymous 2025-08-23 21:19
denpa has too much sex talk. very inappropriate. too many depressed people too
37 Name: Anonymous 2025-08-23 22:21
misanthropic autism is thankfully absent on most other textboards
38 Name: Anonymous 2025-08-24 01:08
>>34
denpa-chan if mostly because it's more active
39 Name: Anonymous 2025-08-24 22:23
>>36
I agree. Why are denpas so obsessed with sex? They're specifically obsessed with it in this bizarre way where they will take any chance they can to talk about how much they hate it. It is an odd thing to fixate on to such an extent. I am not sure what's going on there psychologically.

High population of transgenders and people with a transgender fetish. High population of Bataille readers who have gore fetish. Sex has more or less become the source of life’s meaning for people.

Bataille is too spiritual for me.

I don't read fiction. Sorry.
45 Name: Anonymous 2025-08-27 20:58
>>44
not understanding the value of fiction is pretty myopic.
46 Name: Anonymous 2025-08-27 21:15

I just suck at reading fiction. I'm not anti-fiction. I didn't get past 10 pages the last time I tried to read a short story.
47 Name: Anonymous 2025-08-29 09:53
don’t usually read fiction either, last fiction book i read was house of leaves a few months ago and tbh i got kind burned out cause its a huge book (great book btw heavily recommend). i ordered the story of the eye earlier this week hope its good
48 Name: Anonymous 2025-09-07 14:00
not being able to read fiction is one of the biggest signs of low iq and low intellectual curosity.

I wish I was Spanish. Bievendo a Internet (or whatever it's called) seems like exactly the kind of website I'd lurk on all day and night, but it seems like I'm not ought to be part of the secret club.
