I already avoid crowds because of anxiety but crowds are the safest place. You blend in and nobody notices you. Lingering near exits will make you stick out.

1. Stop using social media, otherwise you'll waste too much time on them when you in fact have infinite free time. I made the mistake of getting addicted to Youtube videos while doing something else and now my brain is fried. You really don't want to end up like this "Self-loathing man of inaction" image where all you do is browse imageboards and watch Youtube. You'd think this doesn't happen to you, but it will eventually if you don't actively seek out to not do it. This is the worst kind of NEET one can be.

2. As others have pointed out in this, create things and not just consume stuff. Creating something feels a lot better than just consuming something, at least in the long run.

3. This is tangentially related to point 1: You have all the means to leave society behind, be independent, be authentic, be free. Make use of this freedom, be as authentic and independent as possible. Don't think of this as empty platitudes, actually make something out of it, being NEET is a privilege only few have. This can mean that you become as ghost and basically disappear, this can mean that you can be part of something, this can mean whatever, really.

I'm addicted to textchans and listening to music on youtube. I do nothing all day but surf chans. I try and do things but they are hard and its so difficult to manage the 24 hours you have in a day. I wanna do something creative but I'm only good at writing non-fiction. I should try music production or something. I tried programming and I suck at it. Not really sure what I could make.

Don't think I can do that. I still need to go buy food and stuff. You are in society, like it or not. There's no escape from this hell. I wouldn't mind being part of society, if it were a good society anyway. It isn't.

Maybe something like scale modeling of like miniature tanks/airplanes/cars/trains/ships/spacecraft/Warhammer characters/Gunpla? I find it to be a very rewarding hobby that is somewhat easy to begin with as most scale models have a difficulty rating so you can just start with the easy ones that don't require much time, effort, and skill, and slowly get better at it, progressing to the more difficult ones. It's great, because you can listen to something while doing so, it's not hard if you start with the easy one, and you're actually creating something that you can put in your shelf. It's good for the psyche to see progress and with those models it's easy to see progress. I don't know, just a recommendation for a creative hobby that could be interesting to do.
