Looking for autodidacts

Anyone know any people that discuss autodidact topics, like teaching yourself college level topics at home, making interesting projects, making money from your bedroom. I already know about Math Sorcerer and he's the kind of person I'm looking for

I meant he's NOT the kind of person I'm looking for

He's bald.

I uhhh... read Sci-Hub articles, take notes in Emacs and hoard Sidebery tabs. I have all the same interests as Gwern except I'm severely bound by IQ, put harshly.

I am attempting to learn how to code, trying out nvim and trying hyprland

MIT open courseware and libgen are your best friends. Really can’t praise them enough.

Lol yeah that Math Sorcerer Youtube channel is sad.

I don't think there are interesting projects "universally", bar curing cancer and the like. In which case there are no longer any low-hanging fruit. I do not have experience with crypto/prediction/day trading but competing with the whole world there must get exhausting as well.
What I'm getting at is one needs a niche. The post I'm linking suggests that in the communities you already dabble in, there are likely opportunities to do something for the community that you could just take up. That's what Patreon pages that get 800€ per month are doing at the core.

what's wrong with math sorcerer? I've never engaged with his content in considerable depth but superficially he seems unobjectionable

Math Sorcerer largely makes motivational videos, not math videos. His videos about math books he spends most of the time appreciating the cover, typography and the like.

>>8 Nothing is wrong with him, but his style of content is kind of repetitive and annoying. It's basically all clickbait vapid fake motivational slop and that's not interesting to me
