do you believe in shopping cart theory?

im fairly convinced of it. its easy to see why america is the way it is (wholly unconcerned with helping anyone if it comes at a minor cost to the self) when you look at a parking lot littered with trash and unreturned shopping carts

i used to work at a supermarket and going outside to collect shopping carts was the highlight of my day.

my mother always grabs things from shelves then leaves them all over the stores we would go to, and leave carts anywhere in the parking lot.
it always pissed me off. I started mentioning it at a young age and she'd always say shit like "I'm just giving them stuff to do"

but frankly I still think it's bullshit. you want to live covered in your own shit that's fine, but don't spread that shit around or I'll want to put you down like the wild rummaging animal you pretend to be.

now if the company owners start replacing the stockers and such with autonomous drones then I think there is definitely an argument to be made to chaotically fuck up the place in ways the bots can't deal with.

the shopping cart costs atleast, 0,2€
and HAS always cost atleast the equilevant of that
Make that of what you wish and will.
NONE THE LESS all shopping carts were returned with no "fast pass", 10 years of joining... "no money passes" start to happen more and more and suddenly... the shopping cart theory starts to make sense.

this question tears me up. i think it's a chicken and the egg situation with people not returning carts and there being people to set up to return the carts. after much consideration i can say that i don't think that not-returning-cart is indicative of badness, but that returning-cart is indicative of goodness, and the most good is the person who is getting paid to return the carts to their corrals. i miss getting paid to push carts so fkn bad.

we should restructure our entire society on venerating grocery store cart pushers and shun the rest

No we should just ban all shopping carts. This way all our social problems will be solved.

True and when private shopping carts will be a thing, people will take care of them, because there will be no tragedy of the common shopping carts.
