i have enjoyed quite a few of these!! kinda wish i could post more but if you watch these enough you'll either get recommended similar videos or if you don't like yt algo you can just search the tags they use to find similar videos...searching "synth jam" and filtering to recently uploaded has been a good go-to in my experience

https://www.youtube.com/@thevape5030 - some euro noise freak making absolutely busted homemade synths, very atonal and harsh

https://www.youtube.com/@thebleeplesyndicate - a jam band featuring a guy with a eurorack, a guy with some more orthodox synths, and a guitarist with lots of pedals

https://www.youtube.com/@lepoSsam - everything in vcv rack.

https://www.youtube.com/@mochaburner5611 - harsh noise and free improv drumming

https://www.youtube.com/@stromermutroniks - very nice and clean, hardware demos.

https://www.youtube.com/@superschizoscriptures i think she unlisted a lot of her videos on youtube but i have never seen anyone push fruityloops as hard as she does--and believe me, i've looked.

https://www.youtube.com/@Tapepusher - excessively reddit but he has good production chops

https://www.youtube.com/@whogotwock - guy makes streams where he produces hip hop beats and gets stoned on the regular. he also has quite a few free packs that i've found to be of good quality

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jcs4N88XzaU&list=PLJ_3VhGHcIK7poAD1iUiwgv0pTMlFKc4c&pp=gAQB0gcJCV8EOCosWNin - my own synth jams, generally featuring crunchy distorted rhythmic noise

https://youtu.be/wTmqbuFTESw bonus "not exactly what you're asking for"

missed out an absolutely incredible one wtf

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCRc0jhBMgY livestreams regularly. this is probably the most impressed i've been by a setup and i knew i was missing someone important when i made the post and i found him eventually but i couldn't bring myself to say "i missed out on someone" just for one guy but this guy ... he's got about 3 dozen pieces of hardware he's running in conjunction with eachother and he gets up to wild shit with them!! i would love to know more about his process but i dont speak japanese. he is a solid 1 man band.

you know what, i guess i could do a few more

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3UPsEdQBLI&pp=ygUMdmloYXJ0IG11c2lj vihart isnt exactly obscure but her music videos were always a lot less popular than the math ones but they were so awesome and weird. i'm not sure how much is still up, but i can't think of a youtuber who i'd rather listen to talk about music.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJ4Rce8QEs0 - i know that this video has 823k views but it's an incredible resource in its ability to conveniently share with you immanently useable alternative ways of considering rhythm, one of the 3 fundaments of music

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tivES-sjHc4&t=476s&pp=ygUOc3RldmVuIGRpZnVyaWE%3D everyone knows the art of mixing (and if you dont please check it out) but secrets of analog and digital synthesis is awesome as well, if you think you know the synthesizer intimately enough that some guy from the 80s won't teach you anything, please at least skim the chapters to appreciate amazing work that went into the visualizations and explanations.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9IOjFRFjrOlaSN20n8BVup9Sw5pECF_N this playlist has over a hundred electronic music and synthesizer documentaries. i know this is not exactly what you asked for but again i am making inclusions based on their applicability and honestly i just like sharing awesome stuff.

https://www.wendycarlos.com/ hahaha this one isn't even a youtube page. maybe it's pushing it but like come on this website is fucking AWESOME and denpas love websites so like i think im fine with this. anyways she has a lovely writing voice, there's tons of great advice and wisdom shared, and you can even download some tunings and score files from the mother of synthesis herself!! be warned, i've had trouble with some of these old file formats.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mh3WTg31ux8&list=PLVrkgrivgNGjT_NxFAaw1tvbJ8XWi5mpA fringes of sound is a blog that posts about weird bandcamp releases and it has a few interviews!

https://genius.com/a/the-history-of-fruityloops this article is awesome and reminding me that i should probably just pirate an older version of FL because i'm tired of dealing with producer edition and updates. maybe i should go back to LMMS for a while...

https://www.youtube.com/@misscaninehoe absolutely delicious noise from japan

okay that's my update, happy listening
