did n0's comment worm it's way into her brain to the point of actually trying to correct her way of doing things? or is she just reading the winds of change in the zeitgeist and trying to stay ahead of it?
it's weird how she just is kinda like "woops, it seems 'being right' just never was important on accident"

Philosophytube is a hack. Nobody should pay attention to her ramblings or other influencer types.

i feel like i didn't really explain what i meant here. yes pt is a hack. i generally agree. i check in on various "hacks" from time to time to get a barometer check on various cultural bubbles. checking comments to see how wide the disconnect between my reaction and the commenting audiences reaction is, etc. i didn't watch any of her videos in probably over a year, and only heard about the nietzsche video being "exceptionally bad" through U0's reaction vid, where he brought this up in her stream.

she specifically mentioned how "being correct" hasn't been a goal of her format and the nietzsche video was "worse than the sum of it's parts" because she was more focused on telling an interesting story rather than providing correct information.
she makes this seem like something that "just occurred" to her and had been an accident of the conflict created by the "numbers go up" structure of youtube.

If your stance is even talking about this subject by her is a disingenuous meta-ironic self-effacement with no real substance behind it, i'd probably agree. i'm just not sure, and i was wondering if anyone else had a more clear read.

I guess this disingeniousness is what the structure of youtube and normalfag internet encourages. I generally avoid hacks because it causes me to waste mental brownie points when there are better things to do. Despite all the video essays, there really is a lack of thought provoking content on youtube.

"woops, it seems 'being right' just never was important on accident"
Xitter, Reddit etc. have led to a culture of extreme subjectivism, the "no such thing as a bad opinion" blah blah that lets people get away with this trash.
