it's not even possible to check out every anime per season and it hasn't been for years. When is this bubble going to pop and the industry consolidate? It can't possibly be sustainable to have 5 new studios pop into existence every season making garbage that no one watches.

no one is supposed to watch everything that comes out every season. you are intended to watch 1 show in your genre per season. the good thing is that it takes 2 minutes tops to know if something is your cup of tea, and now that there are more cups of tea than ever theres more good stuff. I never want to see anime consolidate. i want indie anime made by 3 people and a dream being released every 45 minutes.

it is a pain dealing with missing chapters, and bad scans, and esl and machine translations, and official releases that are just total shit, and then on top of it all, there's no real good place for manga direct downloads

it is great when everything lines up
but it's awful when it doesn't
