Any SG fans out there on denpachan? What's your thoughts on SG? Digibro made a series of videos saying that SG 0 is trash. For example Digi thought SG 0 was mistaken on its idea of character development. What did you think of S;G 0? Have you played the VNs? Elite? I guess this is a generic SG thread now. Do you have any thoughts on why other SciAdv adaptations failed to get as much hype? Any personal takes regarding SG? I guess in my case I kind of wanted a friend group like that in SG but now I can't say that I really want for it. I mean I was part of a group and enjoyed it but those friend groups are fleeting. I was really into school club anime at the time but now I don't care about those but still like SG. Are there any other anime, VNs, Novels, anime like SG where the characters slowly unravel a mystery?
Read the VN, avoid the Elite version as it is censored and one of the endings is massively downplayed in terms of certain things. 0 was fine, but as stated above, read the VN. SciAdv adaptations didn't pop off as well because Steins;Gate wasn't a dogshit adaptation. Other adaptations have been mediocre to dogshit at best

I have read the original VN and it was wonderful. Elite I haven't touched.
i never watched steins;gate 0 because i loved the ending of steins;gate sooo much it was perfect, the quirky characters interacting was very heartwarming troughout the show

Oh god I'm so happy this thread was made. I really love s;g, and s;g 0 much more. I really hate how under rated 0 is, I highly recommend everyone watch or play it :D I'm currently going through the visual novel for 0, I'm really enjoying it so far. The plot gets so fucking wacky later on, it's hilarious.

Steins Gate 0 anime was pretty cool, if anything for the tied up plot threads to the preceding anime. I'm about halfway through Chaos Head Noah on steamdeck, which I applied a hack to pretty easily to remove censorship and fix some things. Freaking crazy VN
