the main goal is sharing technical knowledge on art and literature for the purpose of creating otaku media with the same level of quality as Japan.
he shares some stuff Japanese artists don't like to talk about too much too for various social reasons. and he has a logical approach to explaining it as well, it's not just tutorials like "do this then this" but a systematized understanding.

i mean things that Japanese people are too diplomatic and polite to go into every time. for example the Saitou Naoki video about westerner anime talks about the painting being a naive adaptation of western fine art techniques to anime, as opposed to anime painting being fundamentally cel shading derived, but doesn't say much about the line art already being westernized and the reasons why westernized line art looks off. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5M5qXfamBvA

average length is about 28 minutes, it's not livestreamed and there's a plan to the whole clinic and individual videos but it doesn't feel prewritten.
