originally watched the show back when i was 12 and honestly i’d lie if i told you that it hasn’t traumatized me. generally people don’t really like the series because it’s: a) pretty badly paced and b) the main character is literally criminally retarded. for the first point i do agree that the series is badly paced and having played the original game it’s way better in that medium (if you were to go for the ending in the series). For the second point now, i think that makoto being a bad person is what makes the series so impactful, i have never and probably will never hate a main character so much, AND I STILL FIND THE ENDING SHOCKING it’s as if despite everything that happens the idea that they are just kids is always there. idk if i’m shitposting at this point but i really love that series and i wanted to get your opinions on it

School Days is genuinely good. Yes, it is trashy. Yes, it could be better. But it knows what it is! The aesthetic is iconic, especially for the time!
