I used textboards before I ever used 4chan. The text only format makes for better posts. Its less ADHD inducing and makes for less stressful experience. My brain isn't being bombarded with images all the time. Pizza spam isn't as bad because they can't upload images. Just compare b to DQN.

On the plus side, it makes imageboards good for wallpapers, images, porn etc.
