In this tread let's share random tips and tricks we've accumulated in niche activities hardly anyone cares about!
for my tip: don't you hate how when you are on youtube and want to switch which user you are logged in on, but you haven't slept in 37hrs so you accidentally click log off and now you have been logged out of all 38 of your alternate google accounts? I know I do. Well, you can use your regularly scheduled ad block to block the logout element from appearing on the menu and never have to dig through your password manager for all your accounts again! (well until you decide to delete your session cookies in your browser at least)

I like to use s spoon to dip my tea into a cup of hat water. I once read someshit about triangle teabags being better because it gives the tea more surface area. I buy cheap lipton black tea, so this was my solution.
hot cup make tea bag flat put bag on spoon dip it so the spoon is parralel to water surface
unfortuneatly, I don't always have a spoon to use.
tip for making scrambled eggs: place butter into the pan and turn the heat all the way to max. when the butter is bubbling (but before it burns) pour your eggs into the pan and quickly scramble them. ideally, this should cook the eggs in less than 20 seconds, and the heat of the butter should make it so the pan doesnt get any leftover egg on it when you finish. the reason i like this method is because its very quick and consistent to get the eggs perfectly done to my taste (just a little bit wet). also crack the eggs on a flat surface rather than a corner, something about cracking it this way results in less eggshells getting into the bowl

>>3 actually maybe this tip was too useful, lemme try another one
quitting social media is much easier if you install an emulator on your phone and play games that you're really autistic about. rpgs like pokemon are an effective replacement for scrolling twitter imo

>>3 extra pro tip, follow what the chinese do and add a cornstarch slurry to your beaten eggs which prevents them from drying out making it almost impossible to overcook them even on high heat

sometimes when you get instant ramen you get a pack that has a hot sauce packet and that packet is way too hot for your taste. what i do when this happens to me is that instead of throwing away the leftover hot sauce i keep it for later and use it on eggs and in sandwiches.
sorry i am drunk and have not written anything by accident, i feel very stupid now. i have meant to actually share a tip about boiled egg. boiled egg is awesome, either for egg spread paste or devil egg. the problem is, why of course, those yellows turning ugly shade of gray, but fear not, here is something i have learned: you put eggs in water, add salt, put it on medium (or high, if you're so daring) fire energy, then wait for the water to boil. then, from that point on, count 9 minutes if they're medium size, or 10 if big. then pour half water out, put half cold water in. wait. then crack them a little bit, pour water out, put cold water in. wait. then you can have your perfect egg that also peels awesome. i hope it works for english people too
