I like this place but it is slow so I'd like to visit some other text boards while I wait for more posts. Do you know any other good text boards?

definitely slow, just about every post date was months if not years ago, but I guess a place like this wouldn't possibly be fast, and the people who'd end up there are alright with that

it was also a lot more polished than I expected, although it wants a really big terminal size for whatever reason

What is liveboard

liveboard is kinda like twitchchat but like in the corner of a anime site

tea liveboard is JS-required front end disaster image board, and not a text board. can't be browsed without js. and it's behind cloudflare spyware.
they post weird links there to illegal pr0n, pretending it to be spam, and pretenging all of them are magical girls. No one gives a dam bout tea there. Oh, and they will ban you and remove your posts, if you don't comply with their christian fashist agenda. Nothing to do there, nothing to discuss.

I haven't seen this ever (besides one person who pretends they're remilia, and there's no porn links), and I go pretty often. I do only go in the night session though (02:00 GMT), I don't like the other one much, so maybe what you describe is more common with the crowd that shows up during that time period.

It definitely isn't a textboard, though.

It's always good to visit different BBSes and find different groups of people.
I also strongly believe different sites should have different people and different cultures, since otherwise everything is the same boring bullshit everywhere. That's reason enough to visit an alternative site, to interact with a different crowd. Maybe you don't like a site and leave, or maybe you find somewhere new to hang out, who knows.

Hell, I wouldn't have found this place if someone on a different board didn't make a thread asking about other boards they visited. Can't remember which one in particular (it was an imageboard) and I absolutely cannot be bothered to check.
