remember when industry plants were “planted” and rarely talked about or showed signs of being planted? in my country (somewhere in the eu) we have a specific problem. musicians are built up from within the system ,tv stations and big capital rarely even hide the fact anymore, the whole eurovision concept has been pushed to its limits, with the system “creating” artists on an annual basis. obviously, ou’re going to ask me: why the fuck do you even care. plants have existed since the dawn of mass media but nowadays they are not even hiding it. tv channel ads on music videos ,EXTREME advertising of “sponsors” who also own said tv broadcasting stations, which stations themselves are owned by the same people who own the banks. and on top of that, a systemic push for the “quality” of said music. i’m sick and tired of people turning the blind eye on the system promoting itself to us while being led to believe that it’s all separate.

your problem is obviously that you consume european local tv and music (not even the funny underground stuff), unless you're a middle-aged alcoholic why would you do that

i try not to pay attention to prolefeed music or shows too much - they all just mesh together into this formless mass that doesn't mean anything. if i blink, there's like a million new tv shows or movies i'll never watch that come out of nowhere, pumped out by these media giants rehashing the same thing over and over again

you can run from it, why are you seeing ads in the first place, even on mobile unless you're using ios (literally malware) its very easy to watch youtube w/o advertisements

i agree that all ads are malware but sadly im too far deep in the ios system, and honestly isolationism is kinda retarded, lets see the culture we are trying to critique, otherwise we are just circlejerking
