>>2 i don’t watch tv i don’t consume “mainstream media” the problem is that society is built on that “mainstream” narrative and when everyone around you seems to be in on it, it makes you feel isolated. my problem is that most people around me seem to understand what the problem is when i tell them my opinion, however they never actually face it. the conversation always boils down to “you’re way too cynical” i have spent countless hours trying to connect the dots and what i’m saying seems to check out our overlords just pump more and more to their own problem, whenever i see an ad on youtube about a mainstream personality advertising a bank or a tv station it just blows my mind
