just use the electronics only on things that are genuinely interesting to you avoid all types of slop phone? only calls and messages and anything else on the browser never download an app
computer? only use it for work study and if entertainment then only do things that actively challenge your brain or skills I myself went on youtube and turned off all recommendations and history so that i only have what is in my brain to give attention to and then that way i dont sit there looking for something i have to think and it makes me close the app i also unsuscribed from everything and resubbed to only the things i could actually think of off the top of my head im talking as someone who has probably spent 12 years of their life watching videos mindlessly and this is what seemed to work best at the moment

Seconding this. The best approach is to move to more meaningful electronics and way from the shit-net. Or what some would call "the botnet."

yeah also most normie streaming platforms have been secretly tampered with all the algorithms are now also powered with large lenguage models to recommend slop that optimizes for the most attention grabing thumbnail for this specific user based on their interests im not sure if this is real or just a schizo delusion but even netflix has the characters in movie posters make a certain face that is attractive to the user and youtube is honestly not worth it anymore its so clogged with ai content you click one video on accident and they fill your feed with that garbage its really not worth it i would honestly love it if the big denpa channels would just upload to vidlii i feel like they are an untapped source of possible denpaists also that website could use a nice push to the left its full of fucking racists but i also enjoy the old youtube rabbit hole system where you just get recommended videos with simmular titles instead of tons and tons of ai curated garbage thats supposed to keep you attention on the app and propagandize you

also opting for older hardware that insentivices you to customize your system for maximum efficiency helps, like i use a thinkpad t43 and it can generaly load videos and run a website with low java script usage just fine, aslong as i use things like mov-cli, qute browser, ranger and other terminal based frontend applications that avoid ram bloat that honestly proove to be better at their job than the proprietary garbage the corpos provide, honestly its like they spoon feed you litteral pounds of salt and fill you with metric tons of water with little to none minerals or nutrients, theres really no reason for the internet to be this bloated and eye straining.

This is the way. I don't have history, recommendations, or subscriptions. Nowadays, I only watch good films, read books, learn German, and make art/animations. My only vice is occasionally checking Denpa and 4chan [lit, tv, co, mlp] because I'm too monastic and thus feel the need to get ideas (sensations?) from somewhere. I get a lot of good recommendations and images for example. I also rarely use my phone which is devoid of any mindless apps. You simply need to introduce intentionality to the way you use the internet.

been thinking of learning russian but i wouldnt really know where to start, i mainly want to learn to read and write it since im sure it will be much more usefull to me that way than spoken lenguage would be, i also want to be able to remember the names of certain russian bands i find and want to get a deeper read on russian art so i guess i do have reason.

i dont know how hard it would be as someone who uses two different lenguages on the regular, would it be impared cause of the amount of characters i would need to remember or would i have an easier time connecting words and feelings, i think i will definetly give it a try but if any of you have tips on learning new lenguages please tell me

I tend to talk alot of spanish, but read even more english, the only time i have found myself struggling to articulate what i want to say is in spanish cause i have a larger english vocabulary due to the internet being english centric, maybe i will try translating denpachan to russian/spanish to work out my vocabulary in those lenguages

The more languages you already know, the easier it will be to learn others. Your brain already has the plasticity. Generally, it is better to start with listening before reading. And before starting to listen, one ought to familiarize oneself with the phonetics of the language. Which you can study at the same time you study the alphabet. Once you have a solid grasp of this, I recommend finding a good anki deck to develop a good foundation with the most common words and structures in the language. Brush up on grammar when you have questions and listen to content at your level with the Comprehensible Russian YouTube channel. There are also plenty of children's books at an A1 level that you find out there. Ultimately, what matters most is the amount of time you spend with the language. Developing a vocabulary and getting used to the patterns in the language. Good luck!
