terminal based frontends for use in low resource systems

life could be made alot easier by simply using these, instead of forcing yourself to open a website, be flooded with useless information that has nothing to do with what you are looking for and ultimately be distracted.

i usually just use youtube for media but ive been looking for other possible ways of just keeping things in the terminal for my sanitys sake, if you would kindly drop some github links below.

mov-cli is a plugin based media scraper that you can fit to your needs i pair it with mov-cli-youtube and otaku-watcher these can all be installed through pip, and this is a list to some available plugins.

I read a lot, it takes whole day. instead of reading and typing manually long answers I've could be walking, moving, etc.
And usually only 30% of what I read is actually useful. But I had to manually filter 70%.
So I will vocally ask AI to read long posts instead of me, filter, digest, tell me briefly only relevant data. And voice type answers.

I know out there are some purists puritans who will argue against that. But if you root for banning this sort of interop - you depriving disabled people of forums. And no one gives a dam if you dislike AI frontends.

I have nothing against op >>1
best wishes, love & kindness xoxo

eu added to piracy watchlist few yt/stream scrapers like ytmp3.cc etc . full article is on torrentfreak

another thing it is interesting to watch how some dorks who ruined net 15 years ago, right now trying to revive it. same could be said & extended not only about net, but other things too.

i agree using ai in usefull ways like helping disabled people articulate their ideas in ways they couldnt before is awesome,
i usually only have a problem with ai when it replaces people and uses data collected from people to immitate them wihout their consent, the uses for ai regarding disability could be wonderfull, i imagine you could enable mute people to speak by reading their brain waves closely and overtime learning how to make ai say things they want to say, without the need of an outdated machine, even giving them an ai voice that they can customize to their desire based off people who willingly donate data on their voice to build new ones for the disabled.
I wonder if we could have the choice to only donate our likeness once we are dead and gone, like donating an organ or tissue and it specifically only being used in clinical trials for things like this, instead of it being used in ways that wouldnt honor a persons identity before they died.

I've never seen anyone so openly and readily admit to not being able to read. Which explains why your post is a completely irrelevant to the thread topic.

I like the way you think, but I usually rely on Firefox extensions to stay on task and get rid of useless information and websites. I have recommendations disabled and hidden on YouTube for example, and I have a few sites blocked and blacklisted that I never visit anymore (Reddit, Twitch, Discord, X/Bluesky). I also have one tab per window enforced, so I can be mindful about how I use the web. I rarely watch YouTube anymore except for L2 immersion content and Blender tutorials, so I guess I stopped the slop train. ytfzf looks useful, though.
