I'm thinking about saving up a bunch of money and then just backpacking for a while around the country, I have previous experience with camping and hiking however I have not done either over a long period (months).

I've looked at a few maps and determined that it is entirely possible for me to achieve this with some training before to prepare my body. My mind is already ready.
What tips can fellow outdoor denpas give for a journey like this?
