i really love music from games where melee combat is the star of the show. there's something that i love about the fast-but-not-too-fast tempo, the focus that is placed on the percussive instruments and the frequent use of harsher sounds.

this fondness that i hold for the somewhat harsh sounding music with complex percussive rhythms extends to most of my music taste. i listen to a lot of different stuff (my 5x5: https://files.catbox.moe/ve99ik.png) but nothing makes me feel as good as those drums make me feel.
