I really miss anime blogs, before anitube totally took over and became whatever it is now, there was anime blogging.
The reason why anime blogging died was because it's easier to watch youtube videos, and as for group discussions imageboards, comment sections on streaming sites and subreddits are just more convenient.
However I feel like something was lost.
What I am suggesting is not starting our own forum or new "platform."
Take over the abandoned r/animeblogs subreddit and start posting links to our personal blog posts which we host on our own websites.
I mean we could just use denpa-chan too but I feel like denpa-chan is more of a discussion forum than a place for shilling something.
This thought came to me while reading an old blog post about guiltycrown:
