feel free to share things that you've been making and/or are interested in, regardless of which subdivision of creative expression they belong to.
music, visual arts, cooking, games, mods, objects, mechanisms, whatever. all are welcome.
i've picked up an interested in clothesmaking. my current active project is a waist sash. easy business, very simple compared to the pants i made, though i'm getting my grandma to help me with the button closures 'cause i'm still a total amateur. my next project will be a felt hat. i haven't decided on the style yet, but i've been thinking about going for a pointed hat with a large brim.
i'm excited to read about what other users have been doing! i love all of you so much!

sewing is very interesting, I've tried getting into it a couple times in the past, but I always got annoyed with the needle pricking me. Maybe I should wear thimbles on every finger... I'm interested in making dumplings, there aren't places nearby where I can order them but I've been craving all variety of dim sum. Folding each indiviudal dumpling sounds kinda tedious, but I imagine it gets faster the more you make and it's so delicious that it's worth it? I saw a recipe for wonton soup where you just make the soup with wrappers as the noodles and the filling are meatballs so you could just throw it together without any folding, I might try that first.

i'm always working on some sort of fiction project but lately i've been doodling a lot more. esp in an old notebook. i haven't done that in a bit, most of my art is digital now. it's been nice.

I like to catalogue all sort of books on the handy lib app when i have absolutelynothing to do, i like to read the lil summary, i like to sort them into similar categories, learn about what makes them important or influential, the authors inspirations. Study books too, no plans to read them whatsoever its like a mini game to me like sifting strough a library

do you use a sewing machine? i sew by hand and i've never pricked myself. takes a lot more time but it feels safer. sewing machines terrify me, like most machines do.

I've never used a sewing machine, but I was under the opposite impression that I'd be less likely to hurt myself with it. The novelty of making sock monkeys got old after all those pricks and not a fantastic result. I think I'm just clumsy.

Here's a series of interwoven, scripted musings on art and philosophy called the demiurge diaries that feels like it would be interesting to folks around here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXy9pfJfQws&list=PL_Mm-zpXo5O_OMihwRCfHDCbWT9sa59JG&index=2
Maybe I'll make a second season some months from now
