A great musician can't keep up the hype, even though people expect greatness all the time, you need time to let yourself hear the new stuff enough to find it out. Seems he's an album maker, so it makes sense to let it pass the course of time. I doubt he's fully fallen off when it comes to his output, but I think when you're familiar with something or someone, it's a nice comfort to have their new music nod to their old stuff too. Changes do come sometimes to style and output, but ultimately, when we are fans, we can give a pass to the formula eventually when the album stands by itself after the critics voices calm down and they move onto something else. I feel like I'm blabbering now, so I'll stop.

Welcome everyone to the second-to-last update. This one will be a very scatter brained and personal update.
Second-to-last because the video still isn't ready, but it'll be ready by the time the next update comes around, things are pretty much settled and it is just a question of time now.
Release date?

At the latest by the end of the month, I'd like to get it done a bit sooner. I've done plenty of video editing before even complex collages and compositions, so I'm relatively confident that it won't take longer than 1-2 weeks for the editing. The biggest concern is the final spurt unexpected bug-fixing and the gameplay itself, more than any editing concerns.

There is another plan9 boot camp starting out on September 22nd
there supposedly about 30 new people signed up so far. It's a great place to jump into plan9 (specifically 9front). No need to have it installed, just need something that will run drawterm and ideally a mouse with 3 buttons (there are workarounds for trackpad users, and yes you can use a mouse with clickable scroll wheel.)

thanks for posting this I wouldn't have known otherwise. I used 9front on my raspberry pi 3b+ for about a week. I wrote a c program that read a push button i had wired up to the gpio. ima join.

not "purely passive" there are "challenges" but they are on the basic side. i think the first one when i did it was " log in with drawterm and set faces icon"

I do remember wishing it had a lot more suggested stuff to do.
