Denpa-chan is not 4chan.
The environment I hope to cultivate here is not supposed to replicate the culture of 4chan. It is recomended that new users lurk moar before posting.
It is the owner's opinion that many other boards are of poor quality because rules against off-topic posting are not enforced. It is encouraged that users do not bump poor quality / off topic threads. Please don't make me have to moderate this place too heavily.
If I had to say the sort of atmosphere I'm going for, it would be something akin to sushichan, a comfy hangout spot for friendly discusion. Threads and posts may be subject to autosage, locking or deletion if they devolve into flamewars, off topic derailment, break the rules, or are otherwise of excesively poor quality.
Politics Considered Uncomfy
The internet has been ruined by political shilling and argumentation. We have a permasaged politics containment thread here. Any posts about politics outside of this thread will be deleted, and repeat offenders will be banned. What counts as politics is up to the admin's discretion.
