Britain continues her downwards spiral.

in other european countries it been like this like in the Netherlands, everything is tied into work

we want to encourage young people to get jobs and stuff
oh cool so, you like doing free trainings, incentivizing apprenticeships, raising minimum wages and stuff like that?
nah we gunna take away their benefits and hope they die if they don't work.

And as everyone is well aware, Anime is a good representation of real life, especially outside of Japan

this a very productive discussion, i think making poeple focus is the true answer, a light warm up maybe like dancing, daily workouts, daily reading goal, maybe laws to combat less actively hostile work enviroments, exerting health related rights

nhk is antiescapist except for misaki's presence
8 Name: Anonymous 2024-11-26 15:21
Misaki killed any antiescapism there was. I WILL rot in my room until she breaks down my door and jumps on my cock

Don't need no Misaki. If I had a Yamazaki that would be enough. Having a bro like Yamazaki is the real escapism.

Its not a perfect solution but frankly I appreciate tackling unemployment and underemployment as an institutional problem instead of the usual solution of "Lol lets' just import more arab/indian coolies to do our slave labour, because that'll never backfire, and you're racist if you disagree"

With how many fucking parasites I personally know who live large off the taxpayer's dime, I may be biased, but fuck e'm. He who does not work, neither should he eat.

It's absolutely possible to fuck up your life in 2 years, I've seen it.
Plus Satou was already a bit mentally ill even before going full NEET imo

nobody is living large on benefits. also, taxpayer's legitimise a country's currency. they don't actually pay for services.

He who does not work, neither should he eat.
no one's life is inherently more valuable than anyone else's and no one in a civilised society deserves to starve. especially when there are multi-billionaires. we have the resources to help them, anything else is a human rights violation.

i'll never understand how regular manage to make people down on their luck out to be the villains when multi national corporations and billionaires poison our water. They routinely engage in wage theft, they bust unions, dodge taxes, rape children, buy politicians off, and exploit their workers for less than their worth. in a sensible society, redistributing their wealth for the average person to do with whatever they want would be considered a morally just and virtuous policy.
18 Name: Anonymous 2024-11-29 10:54
you're zooming out too much, what you just said doesnt change the facts of the reality on the ground, younger poeple are very unemployed right now and pointing out unfairness in an opportunistic system doesnt change that whatsoever

why do you hate me?

nobody likes corps and billionaires except libertarian sycophantic cocksuckers but that's a different discussion.

most people don't like neets either. remember the whole /r/antiwork debacle. Most of the people who like to hate on rich people publicly were not there to defend neets.
