>>561 If you have a problem with the denpa community and whatnot then leave. Commit to your decision; don't come crawling back. What happened to 'FUCK THE PARASOCIALS!', 'FUCK DENPA' and 'FUCK THE AUDIENCE', etc? -- Might I add here that you were and still are the biggest Osaka parasocial; starting the crusade against 'parasocials' was literally just you projecting. Only a very VERY small minority of people actually engage with denpa videos and the creators in this way (for that small minority though they are problematic; I'm not arguing against that). The rest just watch the videos normally. It's actually preposterous to suggest that watching videos is parasocial and that also in itself is inherently bad too. What exactly am I doing then when I engage in literally any piece of art? I connect with the author/artist through their chosen means of communication. OH NO IM PARASOCIAL!
I remember Unim said in a stream (now I'm only using his words as a marker of an underlying cultural perception as he seems to be a person more in touch with 'denpa' than most; he probably hard disagrees with everything I say here too) that, had you not labeled yourself as denpa and had been so forward about how that you're so denpa and all, putting denpa in your name, taking about Osaka and denpa constantly, he would not have considered you it, but rather just some dude making videos in a similar in style. I can't help but think that the majority of your problems with the denpa community stem from trying to, ironically, fit in in a community to where the core tenets of the culture are antithetical to connecting with others, social cohesion, community, etc -- perhaps even normal 'human' values. Everyone here is a freak, fundamentally (in a good way), alienated by humanity, the world, and reality. So you went about doing the denpa thing (in the way YOU think it should be done -- nothing is wrong with this, being yourself is good and is encouraged), realised you weren't really getting whatever need you wanted to be fulfilled met, got all pissy, pointed the finger at the denpa community and 'left'. Now you're back. But you have an agenda now: "It's the people in this community! I don't connect or relate to them! They smell too! They need to change and be like me! Because I'm better!" (Which again is to be expected; the people here have drifted so far from normalcy and the chances that any two individuals here end up near each other in terms of values, worldview, etc, is near zero. But this only becomes a problem when you have a need for the comradery/social acceptance.) You said that you don't want to be associated with whatever 'sub-group' of denpa-chan that you're currently perceiving as 'degenerate' and this would be indicative with what I said previously. Furthermore, there is no sub-group doing that; you're just seeing clusters of it happening then assigning a group to it. Eventually, most people at some point would post something like that for simple fact that they're human and have struggles.
"I'm not jumping at anyone's throats." You are and should admit it. It's a very sly move. When you say this you want to absolve yourself of the social responsibility of being perceived of doing so and have a much easier time changing the values of the culture without resistance. I don't like how you envision denpa and I'm pushing back against the values you want to impose onto it. Leave the people here alone mate and let them do what they want. Don't make a video hinting that they're inferior and then say you're not doing that. Also, I personally don't consider myself denpa, and it's also not up to me to decide that too. You don't decide it either, not for yourself or for others.
