Deleted discord because of age verification farce. Only downfall is using reddit more, which doesn't require login to view, if you aren't bothered about 18+ content being viewable as a lurker. Youtube seems only to need it for 18+ videos too, and I've noticed it's not asking me for things that I'd expect it needing to. Perhaps they're onto me, gulp.
Wonder if sites default to under 18 status for you if you choose to not give ID. Eventually my guess is you'll need to do it before first accessing the site in general. So it'll be required to confirm your age either way. I hope not. But also, hope so, I want an excuse for a ride off this crazy train. IRL places will be my new discord, anxiety be damned.
