I do agree with you that short, low effort, all lower case posts with abbreviations are a problem. Unfortunately, it is a problem seen all too often on every chan these days. Zoomers do not how to type. Maybe we could find a way to filter them a bit better? I don't know.
It's not entirely clear what "feeling" you are referring to. I don't think it's a reasonable one given the evidence available to us right now. Generally, the people who make statements like this were put off by one or two denpa videos years ago and never came back. So, they didn't follow the improvements as they were made. Opting to, instead, make strong statements based on vague memories that have only become more vague over time.
