Im not even saying heavily moderate it, just delete low effort posts and people speaking in ebonics.
It's not entirely clear what "feeling" you are referring to
Ok Ill give an example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zh2pjUY-Kmo
Im guessing someone made fun of him for liking anime because he keeps talking about how people want to take it away from him, and then he proceeds to say the appeal of anime is solely escapism (in his words "we dont want to exist") Which just sounds really edgy and failed normalfagish to me.
A comment sums it up well: >I don't agree with the sentiment that engaging in an artistic medium serves the purpose of 'dissolving oneself'. The value of art is completely lost by doing that; how to disrespect art and yourself for meaningless escapism. If what you said is true, then anime and otaku culture is just a product to pacify the people it appeals to and nothing more. It holds no artistic value, nor is it valuable in anyway.

What I don't understand is that you're applying a framework of values, that the socialized majority hold, and evaluating anime/otakuism (and yourself) through that. Rather than being an individual and liking these things because they're valuable in and of itself, your faith in doing that is constantly challenged. Because on the inside, you're actually a normie. You haven't individuated yourself sufficiently. Otherwise, why would an abstract concept, that only comprises of people that you don't share your values, hold so much power over you?
