Dogs are not people so it isn't possible to murder them. If a dog's owner is threatening me then its reasonable to guess he will use it as a weapon. Its some type of pit breed dog too. For self defense, it is my right to kill the dog to protect myself from being attacked. Dogs can in fact make choices. They choose between different types of food and prefer some humans to others. If the dog isn't like a person, then why should we make a big deal over killing it? The only issue here is if its okay to kill the dog by poisoning instead of a method that is less painful. I wish there was some other way to remove the dog without poisoning it or killing it but what options do I have?
