All the grooming shit seems intentional too. One of the reasons they made it was because "typing and IP address on Mumble is too hard" Something we did when joining Minecraft servers as kids. So there's no intellectual barrier of entry whatsoever.
For just voice chatting in game. Steam's built-in voice chat works fine but people don't use it because it was bad years ago and still carries that reputation. Alot of games have built-in voice chat too.
