In my experience, trans women obsess significantly more over shallow signifiers like looks because they have internalized incel and looksmaxxing ideology. You could argue this is product of something consistent with "maleness". Or, perhaps, the kind-of toxic ideology that tends to appeal more to insecure men. And it wouldn't be incorrect. But that's going in the opposite direction of what you are saying.
>>75 You are basing this on an individual person that you encountered on the internet. That and the excessive amount of bias encoding you have swimming around in your brain. What I don't understand about people is how they fail to analyze the fact that various social pressures radically effect our behavior. A lot of the ciswomen that I have known have been like this, however there have been slobbish ones as well in equal measure. Ciswomen and Transwomen have a different experience when it comes to femininity, and they can both behave in ways that do not adhere to the ideal of the "Fair sex". You could easily compare a Transwomen with a Ciswomen that is infertile and or with higher endogenous testosterone and make the exact same argument you are making here. Reducing what a particular sex can be may seem like a good idea in a conservative framework, however you always end up alienating people that you haven't taken into consideration because you have a perverse obsession with how people should express themselves. But I suppose they are worth sacrificing for an ideal social order aren't they?
